A chamber is only as strong as it’s management. Dinwiddie County Chamber of Commerce provides open opportunity for members to serve on the Finance Team. This team sets the stage for the future of our chamber through budgeting and disbursement of funds. Funds come not only through membership dues, but through a variety of fundraisers, marketing opportunities and our Chamber Directory Advertisements.
This team can be an exciting way to get involved without expending huge gaps of volunteer time. Each year a new budget is created and funds are earmarked for specific needs. These include lunches, before and after hour activities, funding for county related community-based projects and basic office needs.
