The 2016 Dinwiddie Christmas parade will be held on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11. This was the original rain date, as stated on both the official parade application, and on the VDOT road closure permit.
An emergency meeting was held, and input was secured from several sources, including our volunteers and participants. The decision was not made lightly, and we were aware that no matter the final date chosen, there were going to be multiple people affected. We regret any inconveniences that may result from this date change, and hope that the community can support each other in an effort to keep this continued tradition festive for all.
