In 2015, James and his wife, Brandy, lost their twin sons, Waylon and Dean as a result of PPROM (Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes).  Shortly thereafter, WD Racing was born as a way for them to not only cope with their own grief, but to reach out and support others who were suffering as well.  The mission of WD Racing is to both honor those babies that lose their battle with PPROM, and to support the ones that survive.  To embrace that mission and reach as many families as possible, James partnered with March of Dimes to raise awareness of PPROM, and to raise money for things such as research into the prevention of premature births and the related infant losses.  To date, WD Racing has helped over 80 families from 23 different countries, by offering support during their darkest hours.

In addition to all they do throughout the year, WD Racing is also sponsoring their 2nd Annual Toy Drive.  The toys collected will be distributed to children who will be spending Christmas in area hospitals.  The goal this year is to be able to distribute to four hospitals.  For more information, visit their Facebook page:  WDRacingToSaveTheBabies
